This is the largest blog directory in the world, and you do something referred to as claiming your blog in order to tell Technorati and the world that you are the author. It is a simple process to claim your blog. They walk you through the steps and it can all be completed with one day.
You can also search for other blogs on your topic at this site. I learned early on that connecting with other bloggers who were writing about my niche topic would be a very good idea. It gives you new ideas for what to write about, you can refer your readers to each other's sites, and everyone benefits.
Because your blog is your home on the internet, spend as much time and effort as possible thinking out how you will represent yourself online. Make a schedule of what you will post, how often you will post, and what topics you will cover. It is a great feeling to know that you are the one in charge of your blogging experience. It is completely worth it to spend time learning how and what you should do in order to make your blog the best one you are capable of creating.
